The future

I took this shot when I was boarding a plane en route to New York.

It’s from an ad campaign that HSBC ran.

The message is clear, and certainly not new, but spoke to me at that moment in time. You see, I was on the precipice of a shift in my own life.

It wasn’t so much the words, but the idea behind the words and the depth of it that made me literally stop in my tracks, whip out my trusted iPhone, and snap the shot.

I wanted to share it because it’s so simple, yet so true. And sometimes, we get so bogged down by the intricacies of daily life that we forget.

So let’s remind ourselves.

The future is full of opportunity.

Have you seen the new Amarok ad for Volkswagen?

“I think, therefore I Amarok.”

Snap! Talk about clever copy.

It marries two simple ideas. The play on the name. And a tag everyone can easily relate to.

Another great example of simple creativity and getting the point across to your target audience. And then some.
